Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a copy of your Brochure?

Just give me a ring or use the contact form on my Contact Page so I can check my availability as I only shoot one wedding/partnership a day, I then either email the brochure or post one out to you.

I have a copy of your brochure but can you tell me a little more about the coverage?

Please note that all Options are tailored to suit the style of photography that you prefer so the following is just a guide:

Option 1:  4 Hours Coverage.  This aimed at the smaller wedding or Civil Partnership at one venue.  My coverage will start about 1 hour prior to the ceremony, this is when I take photos of the Groom/Partner arriving with the Best Man, Ushers and also guests arriving.  This is followed by the arrival of the Bride/Partner and Bridesmaids.  Coverage of the ceremony is at the discretion of the minister/registrar and we always abide by their wishes.  We like to capture the emotion of the ceremony as well as the key moments of the service.  After the ceremony candid shots are taken of you and your guests and then we move on to any Group shots you would like.

We then like to photograph just the two of you within the grounds of the reception - this just takes about 20 mins or sometimes a little longer for more artistic images.  This gives you the opportunity to spend some quality time together and we can create some stunning and romantic images.  We then go to the room where your meal is being served to take some photos of you in the room with your cake and detail shots are taken of your cake, favours, flowers etc.  After these are done, I then leave you to enjoy the rest of your day.  Prices start at just £825.00 inclusive depending on choice of album.

Option 2.  6 Hours Coverage.  Photography can start with the Bride/Partner getting ready - this is usually in a "reportage" (fly on the wall) style.  I usually spend one-and-a-half hours with the bride/partner before leaving for the Church/Venue.  I like to be at the Church/Venue one hour prior to the start of the ceremony.  The rest of the coverage for this is as described in Option 1.

Alternatively, if you don't want photographs of the Bride/Partner getting ready, coverage can begin at the Church/Venue 1 hour prior to the ceremony, then as described in Option 1, but coverage will include the Speeches.    A DVD slideshow is also included with aprox 200-300 of your proofs.  Prices from £975.00 inclusive depending on choice of album.  Extra time is charged at £75 per hour if required.

Option 3. upto 9 Hours Coverage.  Photography starts with the Bride/Partner getting ready through to the First Dance,  The maximum is 9 hours coverage but additional time can be added at £75 per hour.  Prices from £1,200.00 inclusive depending on choice of album.

New iPod Option.  Have all of your proofs supplied on a 8gb Apple iPod (Reg TM) - this is a brilliant pocket size digital photo album - handy to show your family and friends your wedding photographs.  You will also have plenty of room to store your music, videos and honeymoon photos too.  You can plug the iPod into your TV to view your images using an optional AV cable (not supplied).  There is a choice of colours and comes supplied in a gorgeous presentation case.  The images will be printable quality (for your own personal use only) just simply download to your computer.   The coverage is the same as Option 2 but of course, with any package, additional hours can be added on.  You can also add the iPod to any package - additional charge will apply.  As well as the iPod this Option also comes with a beautiful, high quality, multi-image frame with 7 of your favourite wedding photos; a DVD slideshow of a selection of your wedding photos is included as well as an on-line wedding album for 6 months via my website.  The inclusive price for this package is £1,800 (price for 2008 & 2009 weddings).  Please contact me for a brochure.

What else is included with each Option?

In addition to my services and your wedding album, I also include a DVD slideshow of a selection of your proofs (not included with Option 1);  an on-line wedding album via my website - these are in the "Client Area";  your album can be password protected for your privacy; and on-line ordering facilities for re-prints which are available in the Client Area.

Can I Buy the Digital Files?

This option is now available on supplied on disc or a brand new iPod Nano as part of a package or as an add-on.  The files are strictly for your own personal use.  Please contact Norma for further details.

Do you have an Assistant?

I usually have my husband, Stuart, assisting me.   Stuart also takes many of the candid photographs, some of which can be seen in the Gallery.

After my Wedding Day, when will my proofs be ready and how are they supplied?

Your proofs are usually ready when you return from honeymoon and are supplied on a low resolution CD for viewing on your computer and are also supplied in an A4 image catalogue.  They are then put on-line for your family and friends to see.

What is required to book the date?

I like to meet couples first but as many of my clients live some distance away, I understand this is not always possible and bookings are taken with a meeting arranged closer to the wedding day.  A deposit of £150.00 is payable together with the completion of a Booking Form to secure your date.  Bookings are taken on a "first come" basis.  When you find a photographer you like, it is important to book them as soon as you can to avoid disappointment - I have bookings right up to December 2009.
