Kath at Bolton Abbey
Due to the rain on Katherine and Mark's wedding day at Bolton Abbey, I decided to take Kath back to the Abbey after her honeymoon for some photographs in the ruins.  Of course rain was forecast on Sunday but we managed to avoid this until the last few images.  Kath now has a further 60 or so images to choose from for her album!!

Kelly & Dan's Incredible Wedding

Kelly and Dan were married at St James Parish Church, Huddersfield and held their reception at Holdsworth House in Halifax.  To my delight the Groom, Best man & Ushers wore kilts - it was very windy but no embarrassment was caused!  I started the day at the Bride & Groom's house photographing Kelly preparing for her wedding.  When she showed me her dress, it took my breath away - I've never seen such an exquisite gown and it was made by a relative, Adam Shaw.  Adam has a studio in Huddersfield - he designs wedding dresses and also costumes for TV.  Without doubt, he is very, very talented guy.  You will see Adam in the photographs dressing the bride making sure she was perfect for her day and believe me, Kelly looked absolutely Amazing!!  Kelly and Dan were surrounded by their families and many friends on their special day - everything went fantastically well.  You could tell that every detail of their day was carefully planned and to show their love and appreciation to their guests, each one had a hand-written note from the bride and groom which caused a roller coaster of emotions!  I am sure Kelly and Dan's honeymoon is going well in Italy.  A selection of their photographs will be live in my Client Area when they return from honeymoon (around 400).  Best wished for the future - our fondest regards from Norma and Stuart Dean (and Nick my Trainee for the day) Norma Dean Photography.

Kath & Marks Wedding at Bolton Abbey

Kath and Mark were married at Bolton Abbey.  Rain was threatening all morning but we managed to get shots of the Groom, Best Man & Ushers but shortly after that, the rain started.  Kath arrived at the church to sunshine but it was drizzling so we took her shots inside.  When we came out the church, it was glorious sunshine!!!  We managed to do the large group shot but we were keeping an eye on the black skies approaching - then the heavens opened big style!!  We then went on to the Midland Hotel - they hadn't had any rain at all.  Anyway, as you can imagine, there was disappointment that we were unable to capture any images of Kath and Mark in the beautiful grounds of Bolton Abbey.  I thought how I would feel if it were my wedding and I would have been so disappointed.  I decided to offer to take Mark and Kath back to Bolton Abbey after their honeymoon (free of charge), when it isn't raining, to take some photographs of them in the grounds of Bolton Abbey - they were both thrilled at my offer.  So, when they return, we shall get some "amazing" photographs for them.  Apart from that, this didn't deter Kath and Mark from having a great time - they smiled their way throughout the day and into the evening.  They have some amazing friends all of whom obviously enjoyed their day too.  Hope you are having a lovely honeymoon in Cuba Kath and Mark and get in touch when you return!!  All the best for your future together - Norma and Stuart Dean, Norma Dean Photography.

Michelle & Dale's Imperial Crown Wedding

Michelle and Dale were married at the Imperial Crown Hotel in Halifax.  They had a wonderful day surrounded by their family and friends.  Michelle looked amazing especially with crystals on her toes and Dale looked mighty handsome in his grey suit. After a lovely wedding breakfast at the Imperial Crown, the happy couple celebrated well on into the night at their own pub with a BBQ and disco!  Have a great honeymoon!   All the very best for the future from Norma and Stuart, Norma Dean Photography.

The Wedding of Melanie & David
Melanie and David were married at the Holy Trinity Church in Huddersfield followed by a reception at Paddock Cricket & Bowling club.  They had a bit of a "Gangster" theme going on which was inspired by their wedding car.  We had lots of fun setting the "shots" up and I am so pleased with the results.  Melanie and David were quite nervous before the ceremony but when they met at the alter, all nerves seemed to disappear!  They both looked fabulous on the day and both Stuart and I would like to wish them all the very best for the future.

Linda & Steve's Bagden Hall Wedding
Linda and Steve are two of the nicest people you would ever wish to meet and that's why they had so many friends at their wedding.  We had lots of fun taking the photographs of this special day as everyone was so happy for them.  Linda looked absolutely amazing in her beautiful gown and as she walked down the aisle, Steve couldn't take his eyes off her.  Needless to say, the day was magnificient.  They had a soloist singing throughout the day and I hope she has a CD out because I will definitely buy it - a very talented young lady (will get her name from Linda when she is back from honeymoon).  They also had a Big Band (about 16 of them) playing in the evening and they were joined by a guy who really knew how to get the party started - he was brilliant.  We wish you all the very best for the future and I have no doubts that you are having the time of your lives touring Europe.  Their online album will be live when the happy couple return from their honeymoon.  Norma & Stuart Dean, Norma Dean Photography.

Maureen & Barry's Swinton Park Wedding
Maureen and Barry were married at Swinton Park, a very small wedding, just 6 in total.  It was my first time at Swinton Park, an absolutely stunning location and nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff.  When we arrived, Maureen was ready, looking a tad nervous, she was attended by her daughter and her grand-daughter.  Maureen's grandson was the paigeboy.  The Best Man was a retired soldier - I thought he looked really "cool" in his jacket and beret.  When I had finished photographing Barry, it was just about time for the ceremony, just had a few to take of Maureen and before we knew it, they were husband & wife.  We managed to dodge some of the showers for some photographs outside but the main shots of Maureen and Barry were taking inside - but what an interior Swinton Park has.  The happy couple were holding a big party for their family and friends the following Saturday before flying off to Toronto for their honeymoon!!!  Congratulations to you both from Norma & Stuart Dean, Norma Dean Photography.
